Click the link above to go to Pins-n-Needles Sewing Emporium.  This is where you will find everything I currently have up for auction or in my store (fixed price items -- no waiting!).  I've been selling on eBay under the Pins-n-Needles ID for more than 2 years now.  I specialize in vintage and retro fabric, patterns, trims and sewing notions.  From time to time, I'll auction other things, too -- you never know what I've got up today!

Check it out!

It's ALL about the prints!

Ditzy Prints is my domain name -- I'm just now getting things going.  Items for sale on this website will be through my eBay store for now -- but there's other informational things available...like my new and improved Fiber Burn Chart.

In 1999, I realized a life-long dream when I graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from the Apparel Design & Related Services Program at Seattle Central Community College.  If you are interested in the current program click on the link below:

Most of thework I  currently do in my sewing room is custom clothing and alterations.  I have also been working with vintage fabrics and styles, adapting them to work within the plus size-petite esthetic.  The dress I'm wearing in the picture on the left is an adaptation of a daydress from the 1930's.  Its cotton fabric makes it nice on hot summer days.

This is a much more recent picture of me.  This one was taken last November.  I am wearing my favorite faux Pucci top.  I am always on the hunt for prints like these.  They are my passion.  Since eBay has taken over my life and living room, I have started spending one or two days a week on the road around Western Washington hunting the thrift stores for vintage fabrics, patterns, and sewing notions.  If you are in need of retro or vintage items for your sewing projects, email me (just click on the link below).  I may have what you need, or know where to find it.

In 1995, I  started working with a company, making patterns for cement geese outfits.  While I no longer work with that company, I do still develop new costumes and outfits for cement geese from time to time.  Pictures of some of my outfits for the geese appear below.

Here are some of my designs for the cement geese population:

Bovine Madness

Flamingo (or is it Phyllis Diller?)

Scarecrow

Fireman

Winter Ensemble

Santa Claus

The June Bride

The Honeymoon's Over

Gone Shopping
